Coming soon for Mac
See what your coding agents did while you were away, and what needs you now.
Works with the agents and terminals you already use
You walk away. Your agents don’t. Perch tells you what they did, right from the notch.
You hand a few sessions to your agents and go do something else. Here is what the next few hours look like.
10:55
A session you are not in finishes or asks for something. The notch grows with what happened, then folds itself away.
12:10
Back from lunch, a card drops from the notch: the session, what the agent did, and the next step if it named one.
12:11
Allow or deny a command, or pick an answer to a question, without leaving what you are doing.
12:14
Read the agent’s last message and reply from the notch. It goes to the session, in a terminal or the Claude or Codex app.
12:15
One key opens the exact session: the Claude app, Codex, a Conductor workspace, the terminal tab, the cmux split or the herdr pane.
Every card answers to a key. Try it: the card below is the real Perch, and it listens to your keyboard.
It waits until you are back, stays quiet while you are not, and takes whatever you drop on it.

Quiet in calls. N snoozes it.
Drag a file to the notch.
No account. Say hi, choose the agents it should watch, try your shortcut, and it is watching.

An Apple silicon Mac on macOS 26 or later, and Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or pi, in its app or a terminal. A notch is optional.
Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and pi, in their own apps, in Conductor or in any terminal. Perch switches to the exact tab in Terminal, iTerm2, Ghostty and Warp, the exact pane in cmux and herdr, and the workspace in Conductor.
No. Perch reads the session files your agents already keep on your Mac and sends nothing anywhere. The words on a card are your agents’ own: the session title, what the agent said it did, and a next step only when it stated one.
An optional setting. It adds one hook entry for Claude Code and Codex and a small plugin for OpenCode and pi, so Perch hears the moment a session finishes or needs your OK. Your config files are backed up first, and turning it off removes everything it added.
Accessibility, for the shortcut and for typing a reply into the Claude or Codex app. Automation, to switch to the exact terminal tab. Files, to read project folders. Skip one and Perch still works: without Accessibility, a reply is copied for you to paste.
Early builds are not notarized yet. The first time, open Perch, then click Open Anyway in System Settings, under Privacy and Security. After that it updates itself.
One email when it is ready. No newsletter, no follow-ups.
